New Partnership between DürkHorns and Trompas Lusas

True to the philosophy of DürkHorns "A company without vision is like a tree without water." the company is treading new paths and starts with the established early 2010 Hornquartett Trompas Lusas a friendly partnership.

In June 2014, the partnership was announced during the 3rd Festival Trompas Lusas. Owner and founder Dietmar Dürk traveled to Espinho in Portugal and presented himself and his company during the entire festival. The complete Quartet Trompas Lusas plays since then on horns of DürkHorns, the models D3 and LDx5.

During the festival the quartet presented itself in concert and performed with guest musicians like the tuba player Sérgio Carolino and the percussionist Bruno Costa (both soloist musicians in the Symphony Orchestra Porto Casa da Música).

The group gives special attention to works played with natural horns and they have also collaborated with composers like Luís Carvalho, Jon Hansen, Jorge Prendas and Cláudio Moreira.
